Ashampoo Undeleter

The recovery function of the Ashampoo Undeleter is extensive and not limited to the hard disk drives of your computer. Deleted files can also be detected and recovered on external USB drives, USB flash drives and other storage media.

have more specific scan options

1. scan a specific folder location, not an entire drive 2. exclude specific locations (eg Windows, System32, etc) 3. exclude file extension 4. only search for files with a given extension

Stop installing toolbars and hijacking home page

Uncheck the 'Install MyAshampoo Toolbar and Web search check boxes. It's easy to miss these because they are grayed out. Allow users to 'Opt In' not 'Opt Out'.

Gget rid of the large advert for Winoptimizer and trying to get us to upgrade to the Pro version via the intro screen

Offer a portable version. It would make a valuable addition to my 'Emergency Thumbdrive'.

Be able not to get your 'service letter' upon registration...

be able to STOP ALL THE SPAM they have sent for for a year after trying their products .They have managed to get around every spam filter in place.

Simplify the registration process

have more specific scan options

Search specified file in list of deleted files

it should recover formatted file (just add this option)

Excellent help document. Add links to video tutorials to improve the help menu further.

I installed it and never got the email. Still waiting.
